About the BookIf he could be her tragedy, I could be a better one.
As a newcomer on Ophelia Island, Florida, Sam Carter is less than enthused about moving away from West Virginia. But the moment he lays eyes on Georgia Gabeheart at the beach one morning, he can’t help but surrender to her bewitching allure that summons him toward breaking the rules. But when a tragic hurricane sweeps over Ophelia Island, Georgia and her boyfriend go missing, thrusting Sam into a frantic search for Georgia as the police start investigating how he might have a hand in both disappearances. Meanwhile, Sam gives himself only one option: love, even if loving might end in tragedy. About the Author Author MM Cochran
M. M. Cochran is an award-winning investigative journalist and bestselling author of her debut novel Between the Ocean and the Stars, a young adult mystery romance named a Finalist in the 17th Annual NIEA Awards. She also authored The Button Collector, a psychological thriller. While she likes the idea of her biography saying something like “she enjoys the outdoors and being in nature,” Cochran can realistically be found fitting author stereotypes such as curling up in her blanket, reading a book, and drinking a cup of coffee.
Cochran lives with her husband in Franklin, TN, as a full-time journalist for the Williamson Herald. Photo by Cassidy Lappin Connect with the author on Instagram @m.m.cochran_writer |
