Kincaid finds himself caught in a vortex of events involving the smuggling of al-Qaeda operatives and weapons into the United States. While under cover, Kincaid begins a complicated relationship with an exotic Navajo nurse who doesn’t trust men. Hindered by a difficult past, Kincaid seeks solace from her uncle—a Navajo Hitali medicine man—who is also a combat veteran. While on the reservation, Kincaid stumbles upon a plot by Al-Qaeda operatives to set off a uranium atomic bomb in the heart of Los Alamos, New Mexico. John T. Young took Ernest Hemingway’s advice to go out into the world and experience it, then write. After serving in Vietnam, he became a journalist, a police officer, and a private investigator. After the 9/11 attacks, he joined the FBI as a counterterrorism analyst, then joined the Defense Intelligence Agency. He served in Iraq with the Joint Special Operations Command and subsequently worked as an instructor for US Army Intelligence at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona. He currently lives in Tucson, Arizona.
