At this time, we're not considering full-length fiction for our IngramElliott imprint (manuscripts over 55k words), children's fiction (picture books, chapter books, etc.) or non-fiction titles. We are considering manuscripts for our IE Snaps! imprint (novella-length manuscripts from 25,000 to 55,000 words).

In fiction, we are looking for uniqueness of story, innovative plot lines and compelling characters that translate well into film and television projects. Authors must create and maintain a strong author platform including social media. If selected, you will work with IE to create film and tv materials related to your title.

Submission guidelines for all genres
1. Select the imprint from the dropdown list on the Submissions page.
2. Fill out the submission form.
3. Include only the first 10 pages of your manuscript pasted into the body of the submission form. Any full-length manuscripts will be deleted immediately.
4. Once a submission is received, it is reviewed by our editors. Occasionally, you may be contacted by email or phone for follow up questions or other clarifications. Typically, you will receive a response within 8-10 weeks of your submission. If we are interested in further reviewing your work, we will email you a request for the full manuscript.
Note: we may also ask for a chapter outline, treatment/summary, book blurb, or other material as part of your full submission.
Specifications for full manuscripts
If we ask you to submit a full manuscript, please use the following:
You may submit your manuscript in Adobe PDF format
1. Double-spaced lines
2. Times New Roman 12-point font size
3. 1- inch margin top, bottom, left, and right
4. Include page numbers and your last name on each page in footer
5. Include a page break between chapters as well as chapter headings
6. PDF format - most word processing applications will allow you to save your file as an Adobe PDF or you can convert your document online by visiting adobe.com.
7. Include a book blurb/synopsis, chapter outline, and character summary on a separate page of your manuscript.
Note: We do not accept printed submissions via snail mail. Any manuscripts sent to us will be destroyed immediately. Please use the online form for all submissions.
